Things Will Be Better

things will be better.

we will be able to go and do things.

we will put injustice above our own opinions.

we will find happiness within ourselves.

we will learn to relove people fully.

things will be better.

we will stand up for what we believe in.

we will march alongside our brothers and sisters who have stood by us.

we will not be complacent.

things will be better.

we will not stop until our voices are heard,

from every state,

to every country,

to all around the world.

we will be proud of where we come from because it has shown us not only where we have been, but where we are going.

things will be better.

we will no longer fight off change

but welcome it like the breeze because like the wind, it is ever moving and always adjusting.

we will check on those around us, not out of obligation but out of love and respect for how hard we have worked to get to this point.

and even then, we will still say:
